Monte Verità

Around 1905, Monte Verità, situated on Lago Maggiore, Ticino (CH) was a well-known meeting place for life reformers, pacifists, artists, writers and free spirits. The feature film MONTE VERITÀ tells the story of the courageous woman Hanna who, escaping her role in viennese bourgeoisie and tormented by inner turmoil, travels to Monte Verità. The historical drama, which is based on true events, raises the question of how much self-determination a woman is allowed to have in her life without being criticized by society.
